Bruno Fernandes scored his first Premier League goal in 85 days to give Manchester United the lead in Sunday's home game against Aston Villa.
The Portuguese playmaker had gone 10 EPL matches without finding the net before he pounced on an error by Villa keeper Emiliano Martinez in the 39th minute.
Martinez failed to hold onto a fairly tame shot from Marcus Rashford and his initial save only succeeding in pushing the ball into the path of Fernandes, who got to the rebound after winning his race against Alex Moreno.
Fernandes and Martinez have history.
The keeper famously performed a celebratory dance in September 2021 after his mind games appeared to contribute to Fernandes missing a late penalty as Villa won 1-0 at Old Trafford.
